AIRF/ECoRSU's Well Being Programme  Dec 2023. Report Submitted by Com Amrit Mishra, Zonal Trainer AIRF Well Being &  Compiled  by Com Kona Vishnu, Coordinator International Affairs & Coordinator Social Media, AIRF, India.           As per the decision taken at the National Level Refresher Training programme in the Mid of 2023,  East Coast Railway Shramik Union (ECoRSU) an affiliate of All India Railwaymen's Federation (AIRF) under the stewardship of Com P K Patsahani, General Secretary, ECoRSU and directions of Com Amrit Mishra, Zonal Trainer AIRF Well Being Project conducted a Mental Well-Being session on 1212.2023 at Mancheswar Workshop,  Bhubaneswar. AIRF/ECoRSU's Four Day Trade Union Education Programme   Report Submitted by Com Amrit Mishra, Zonal Trainer AIRF Well Being &  Compiled  by Com Kona Vishnu, Coordinator International Affairs & Coordinator Social Media, AIRF, India.      Under the guidance and advise of All India Railwaymen's Federation (AIRF) leadership the Zonal affiliate East Coast Railway Shramik Union (ECoRSU) conducted a 04 days Zonal Trade Union Education programme at Palasa, Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway from 06.12.2023 to 09.12.2023. 20 youth from all over the zone participated the programme. They were trained on topics such as qualitative idea about the trade union, role of trade union, why trade unions are required, role of youth in trade union, history of AIRF and its achievements, union mapping, SWOT analysis, Social Media etc., .In this trainer's trainee programme some youth were nominated as zonal educators.      The programme was conducted by Zonal Trainer of AIRF Well B

  AIRF/ECoRSU LAUNCHES 24/7 MEDICAL HELPLINE      All India Railwaymen's Federation's (AIRF) Affiliate East Coast Railway Shramik Union (ECoRSU) led by Com P K Patsahani, General Secretary's initiative for 24x7 Medical Helpline (+91-9777477724) named as  "Shramik Saathi" . dedicated to all Railway Employees working and retired was inaugurated by Mr Manoj Sharma, General Manager of East Coast Railway (ECoR) in presence of  Principal Head of the Departments' (PHODs) and ECoRSU delegates on 28 September 2023 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.      This helpline offers assistance in referral to Private Hospitals, Blood Donations and Blood Bank Particulars, Post-hospitalization needs, arranging ambulances in exigencies and  cremation services  among other medical issues.      To commemorate this occasion, a special "Shramik Saathi T-shirt" was also launched.     For further details, please visit the official Facebook page by clicking on the link below: East Coast R

  MENTAL WELL BEING AT BHOPAL Report Submitted by Com Santosh Kumar, First Responder & Trainer AIRF/WCREU, AIRF Well Being Project &  Compiled  by Com Kona Vishnu, Coordinator International Affairs & Coordinator Social Media, AIRF, India.      On 24 September 2023 a Mental Health Wellbeing program was organized by Com Mukesh Galav,  General Secretary WCREU deputing  Com Santosh Kumar, First Responder & Trainer of AIRF/WCREU and Com Manish Bhagat of  AIRF Health Wellbeing Project at the WCREU.        A total of 50 staff of Carriage Repair Workshop (CRWS), Bhopal attended the programme. The session initially discussed about mental health and its importance in day-to-day life. Initially the staff expressed the view that except for physical ill-health everything was fine. The physically ill-health was cured by medication on advise of Doctor. Gradually the trainer explained the importance of Mental Well-being and the staff started sharing their views opened out of the stigma

  AIRF/NRMU WELL BEING PROGRAMME AT NEW DELHI Report Submitted by Com Divya Sharma, National Coordinator, AIRF Well Being &  Compiled  by Com Kona Vishnu, Coordinator International Affairs & Coordinator Social Media, AIRF, India. AIRF/NRMU Delhi Division organized Wellbeing programme on 25 August 2023 at the Divisional Railway Manager's office, Delhi Division, New Delhi. Com Neena Yadav hosted the programme and started with a half hour session on meditation as a stress relieving exercise. Com Divya Sharma discussed the types of stress in the work environment, domestic and social pressures an individual undergoes and the management techniques and also conducted an activity to manage stress in different situations. Com Shiv Gopal Mishra emphasized the need for Well Being programme in today's fast paced life and stated that this project is expected to create a friendly environment at workspot between the Employer and Employee and ease the pressure.
