National Mental Well-being Programme by AIRF, INDIA Strengthens Support for Indian Railway Workers Abu Road, India – From 17 to 19 August 2026 Report by Com Kona Vishnu, Coordinator International Affairs & Media, AIRF, INDIA All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) organised a National Mental Well-being Programme at the Brahma Kumaris Ashram in Abu Road, India from 17 th to 19 th Aug 2026. The three-day residential programme brought together 46 AIRF activists from all zones on Indian Railways to build awareness, practical skills and peer-support capacity around mental health in the railway workforce. Lonavla, Maharashtra | 6–8 May 2026 The All India Railwaymen's Federation (AIRF), INDIA successfully organized a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop at Lonavla, Maharashtra , from 6th to 8th May 2026. AIRF/SCRMU Conducts Trade Union Education Programme at Kazipet Kazipet, Telangana | 18 June 2026 The All India Railwaymen's Federation (AIRF), through its affiliate South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU), Secunderabad Division, successfully organized a Trade Union Education Programme at Kazipet on 18 June 2026. The programme was conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and witnessed enthusiastic participation from railway employees representing various departments. Around 100 railway employees from the Commercial, Technical, Engineering and Running Departments attended the programme. Of the participants, 80 were men and 20 were women , with the age group ranging between 21 and 45 years , reflecting the growing interest of young railway workers in trade union education and leadership development.
